I love to hear children pray. Honest language, believing in a Father that will answer.
I’ve learned three things about prayer from children:
Keep it simple. Believe. Keep it sweet.
Prayer is simply talking with God. No old English, no flair, no formula.
It seems too good to be true that we can have access to the God of the throne by simply bowing before Him. And even more hard to believe that He has time to listen . . . and answer.
When we pray, we climb into the shelter of a Father’s love who longs to talk with His children. If we believe God loves us, we can trust that He hears us. Us.
So I tell you to believe that you have received the things you ask for in prayer, and God will give them to you. Mark 11:24
I also love to hear children sing. Especially this child.
Jackie Evancho was eleven years old when “To Believe” was recorded. Her amazing voice sings of “to believe in a day when hunger and war will pass away” . . .
Please listen . . .
