New Mercies

December 31, 2014 By Verna Bowman 5 Comments

Great is His faithfulness. His mercies are new every morning. Lamentations 3:22

I’m amazed in the way this verse has helped me face daybreak. No matter what the journey holds, we have a sure testimony that this special Word of God is true for you and for me.

IMG_4895I think of the unused collection of days that will make up the coming year and my prayer is for each one to be filled with appreciation for moments. We can outlive our life if we see every twenty-four hours as a gift.

Our family is in need of much prayer at this moment.

Maybe that’s true for you, also – you had hoped the year would end differently so you could see it begin differently. It can if we greet fresh mercy in the morning.

Trust God and wait to see the Father’s hand open the door that seems to be shut tight with the close of this year.

Well because, He is the keeper of the key . . .

Be blessed,
Verna
